God would tell me, 'George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan'. And I did. And then God would tell me 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq'. And I did."
Mr Bush went on: "And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East'. And, by God, I'm gonna do it."

I don't know whether to laugh or to cry.
I've heard this somewhere before. Isn't this the excuse that axe murderers use when they've just committed a heinous act? "God told me to do it!"... Yeah right, like God talks to nutters like you... if he did he'd probably tell you to do the gardening or pick up the kids.
Not nice.

just a note to say gday, hope its going ok out there in the arab world... ;) maghrib is cool, not really been doing much of interest, can't wait to do some travelling over christmas. classes are boring, we're doing such basic stuff. driving me crazy! learning oud which is cool. hoping to be able to impress some beautiful lebanese lady whenever i meet her...
